Besides, he was clearly talking policy; any association between the lipstick-wearing pig and Palin occured in the listener's mind. (I thought you liked her, Buck!)
She also made a reference to a pit bull...should Obama avoid talking about dogs too?
And as Lindy says, the "pig" phrase is commonly used by politicians of all stripes. Do they all need to avoid it now?
