first visit to Alaska.
I made some friends visiting that awesomely beautiful place.
Great folks up there.

BTW, old maps of the world made during the Cold War era
showed a place called "Anadyr" on the eastern tip of Siberia,
opposite Alaska.
Guess what?...That place does not exist; not according to that name.
