Have you ever been to Oklahoma or Kansas?
For a rational and educated human being not possessed by religious fundamentalism, a trip there can be a mind-bending experience...it's unbelieveable how many people there actually believe that evolution is "just a theory" and that other "theories" such as intelligent design or other such forms of gibberish are equally deserving of a place in the school science curriculum...
and of course, McCain/Palin and the Republicans are 30 points ahead in these primitive lands...
