Nothing would happen. Time would be so dilated inside the event horizon that the outside universe would appear to speed up. Objects that wouldn't fall into the black hole for millions of years, would do so in the next instant. The enormous mass increase of the black hole would cause it to expand to cosmic proportions in the next instant. The inside of the black hole would bear an uncanny resemblance to the universe it just swallowed. Or enveloped. Word usage here is a matter of relativity.
