I made a typo that made my para about the "terror watch list" contradictory, if not totally nonsensical. I meant to say, "And 'we guys' are not the ones insisting people on the terror watch list should have the right to buy guns,".

Replace "denying" by "insisting" and the sentence makes sense. My mistake.
