A nice idea, but...
The upper classes are never going to actually help the peasantry
either at all or without something in it for them, and even then the
latter will be mostly crumbs from the dinner table.
And the peasants better be grateful for even that!
Nothing will change in the forseeable future. People remain people.
That's why a revolution cannot be just one regime being exchanged
for another any more.
