Most American's watching the debate understood precisely what it was Ms. Palin was doing. Gwen Ifill didn't really need to point that out.

Clearly, Ms Palin is not qualified to serve as vice president. Her selection to the ticket by McCain demonstrates an uncanny lack of judgement on his part, suggesting that he is not fit to be president.
