The false-color image seems to offer...
subjective evidence in support of 'my' theory.
The basin rim does appear to have a crude circular form

The write up in Wikipedia offers no specific formation theory
except to indicate there is "uplift" precisely where Nashville is.

Nashville sits on a eroded 'rebound peak'?
