NH:- "Space science is a broad field and will NOT be best pursued by pushing all the funds down a single narrow alley, be it Man-in-space, Man-on-the-Moon, Mars, NEO's, comets, or whatever."

EP:- Which is exactly the problem: the money should be focused on the accretion problem right now.

Did you see the capitalised *NOT*, or the "single alley"? I have good reasons to phrase it this way. Please think about what they might be...
