We had just been holding it sequestered in Western Banks as part of the sanctions regime, now lifted as part of our treaty with Iran. A sanctions program, BTW, that was engineered by Obama and Clinton, which they managed to get the rest of the world to sign on to, and which was bound to fall apart soon anyway because our so-called allies are desperate to do business with Iran..
You see, Iran is going to spend that money in the West, buying (among other things) airliners from Boeing. It's business as usual. The Spice Must Flow. Europe is the biggest market for Iranian oil, and they are desperate to sell their stuff there.
Then again, if you prefer to think its just because Obama is a Kenyan, Socialist Muslim who is trying to institute Sharia Law because he hates freedom and America, then I guess there's nothing we can do to stop you. And of course, Gen Reza-Naghdi's remarks are just for domestic political reasons, to get the local trogs all riled up. Just like the Wall Street Journal's.
