I have spent much of my life in the study of issues academic. Both by trade or by hobby and of many different fields both applied and 'pure'. I know a light weight ('school girl') when I see one. If you want to get into a battle of wits with MA, make sure you are well armed (as opposed to, as in your case: apparently unarmed). And if you apply gender linked diminutives... Well... In that case, I would advise most (and you in particular) to run away!

Thoughtful post. I would never have thought to view Yeats odd and seemingly contradictory worldview through Blooms 'ordering' of cycles in western thought. While I am still as-yet unconvinced about Blooms observations, I must say it puts Yeats in a new perspective. When we last spoke on this, it seemed you were convinced that we were already in full shift to the theocratic- but you now sound more optimistic ('New Generation' and etc)? And which generation re you saying is more of a team player generation? X? or the generation after? This runs counter to my experience, but I'm interested in your observations...
