I certainly am an Obama supporter but I'm also a realist. Any President has to deal with a Congress that's going to have its own agenda. If he can guide and make inroads and so some healing of the National and International psyches, I'll be pleased. If he can carry out some of his promises without Congress (a big Democratic majority I would bet) upping the price and getting carried away, then I'll be more than pleased. The Republicans are wary of Pelosi (did I say wary? They're scared shitless of her agenda.) and truthfully, I don't trust her that much. She's much more liberal than I. I tend to be a bit more fiscally conservative than a lot of Dems while liberal in other areas (i.e. abortion). The Republicans had better do all they can to protect the lives of Obama and Biden. Pelosi's next in line!
