I wish I could too, Steve.
The two things that keep me from it.
One: We’ll have him, Pelosi and Reid running things. To me, that adds up to bigger government. That adds up to huge government. I am mad at Bush for creating bigger government. This whole bailout thing is big government. If ever we needed smaller government, its now. I like how McCain wants to go through everything and cut, cut, cut. I don’t like how he supports the bailout, or his plan to help the bad morgatage- which reeks of big government. But over all, I think he would shrink the government.
Two: Energy Independence is my top priority in this election. To get there, we need to have Nuclear power in the mix. Solar and wind are great, but they will not get us energy Independent. We need to have Nuclear, and Obama is afraid of Nuclear power. McCain is not.
Obama is going to win. That I am sure of. It’s just as well, because McCain would have to fight Pelosi and Reid to get anything done- so nothing would get done. He would be considered a failure.
What I want the Republican Party to do over the next four years is to rebuild itself. It needs to find its conservative roots. It needs to remember they are the party for smaller government. That needs to be their policy.
