I wouldn't put it past Cheney. I wouldn't trust him any further than I can throw him which would be about 0 inches. That said, I doubt Cheney would try it now. He knows too well what the result could be and I'm not sure even Cheney is that vile. But there are old men in the shadows who owe their loyalty to no party who could pull strings and have it done. Those are the ones I fear.
