That should prove I'm not a partison, if anybody had any doubts. :)
21 blue states and 11 red above the national average
8 blue and 11 red below the national average.
The next step would be to do as ER suggests and screen out the states that were within say 5% of being red or blue.
I'm not sure how to post the raw data here, but I'll give the excel spreadsheet to anybody that asks. Maybe we can use a moderator as a go-between for the e-mails.
