This time for sure, Bullwinkle!

Radical conservatism--"wingerism"--makes one testable prediction about its ideology: Liberal economic ideas destroy or prevent prosperity and lead ultimately to the decline and destruction of a nation like ours.

The sky hasn't fallen in 80 years of hysterical winger warnings that it will. How much longer do you think we're obliged to wait for you, collectively, to be proven right?

The Soviet Union had a wealthy elite, too. So does China. It's not necessarily a sign of freedom in itself.

Congratulations on that rare moment of clarity. The welfare of the wealthy elites is not the legitimate bellweather of the health of the American economy, either. The existence of wealthy elites is, as you imply by your choice of examples, more often a measure of the corruption of a society, of the degree to which it's become a plutocracy, than of its overall health. Obviously, to those not blinded by dogma.
