They want to rebolster their position as a global superpower. They
have also planted the Russian flag at the North Pole under the Arctic
Ocean with more than a few hints they did this to claim the territory
for themselves.

Venezuela is just one example of their putting on a show, but it is a
show with a purpose. And if they can win over the hearts and minds
of the Venezuelan people, then all the better.

Russia is returning to its old ways, albeit more like China where it has
communist ideals and rulership, but it sure won't turn away all those
nice capitalistic dollars. It knows that thinking and acting like North
Korea is a very dead end.

Russia, China, and India may be very happy "just" sharing Asia, but
their power could affect the West almost as badly as if they declared
outright war on us.

We need to stop focusing so much on the Middle East and terrorists
and do something about Asia, soon.
