Missing the point

On "eternal" life.

Our consciousness and souls survive death.
Life lived here is on an "earth" school where we learn certain lessons to progress and become closer to the Divine. Or we "regress" and our conscience lives in "purgatory" until we come back and "get it". It's the process of re-incarnation.

Christ was nailed to the cross because he was a threat, he performed spectacular and phenomenal feats. He told everyone they had the same abilities as he, if they would just believe. And he told his apostles he would rise again. And he did, according to some reports.

I am not religious or superstitious, but I see his life and death as a spiritual example to all.
It should never have been made into a "religion" which was then manipulated by the church.
We chose on how we live our lives; I think he was just the example.
