Infrastructure repairs, upgrades, and expansions are always a good idea.
So long as they aren't done in the same way as the "Big Dig" in Boston. It would be even better if it was stipulated that all materials going into this had to be produced in the US. The trickle down effect on American steel mills and other industries would be enormous. Maybe a comprehensive nuclear energy infrastructure will also be included. Having facilities in the US that can make pressure vessels for nuclear power plants would be a great thing.
