Earth gazing is a popular sport
Astronauts on long space missions often spend a good deal of their
off time looking at our planet as they move over it at 18,000 MPH.
Once we start sending people beyond LEO, I am sure there will be
lots of stargazing done by them for recreation and other purposes.
One past time I can imagine is observing Earth from Mars and
elsewhere just as we have done to those worlds for ages. And they
will see all kinds of eclipses, transits, and conjunctions we certainly
can't see stuck on this rock.
