Everyone deserves a place at the table. I think Warren deserves a place at the table. I don't think he should say Grace. I don't think the God for whom he presumes to speak is a very big God, a very tolerant God, a very just God.
Your definition fits the neocon chickenhawks with their ideological purity regarding any opinion contrary to their own as treason. The US has just, maybe, survived the most polarizing, divisive regime imaginable. For a vocal supporter of the degradation of the Constitution, disregard of the law, violation of human rights, ignoring of civil rights, and committing war crimes and crimes against humanity to which that regime was dedicated to comment upon others regard for diversity is more than a little arrogant.
Americans deserve better than the puny, prejudiced God of Conservatives. And it's preachers. Obama has blown this one if it's true.
