Hey! I've read the "Sermon on the Mount". Here's a test and a trap for you.
Show me a "Christian" who advocates life as Christ said it should be lived.
There are a few. Friends, Adventists sometimes, Amish, a few others. None of them around here, none of them in the Bush Administration. Not even close to being "Christian" in a form Christ would recognize. That's the "mainstream".
So what do you know about Christ, and what Christ advocated? (You may use the Sermon on the Mount as a primary source.)
And where was Christ wrong, and why was he wrong? (Hint - Torturing words into obscure meanings is not only OK but necessary.)
How can people who disregard the Sermon on the Mount still call themselves "Christian"?
