re: gbaikie !! could you clarify your view

I read your post and some things that you write do not seem to add up correctly.

You say that:

Science attempts to prove what is.
You also state that:
There is no credible evidence of UFOs [meaning aliens in spacecrafts] or ghosts.

My wonderment and question to you is: Has “science” attempted to prove that UFO’s exist?
If scientists have not even studied the subject matter then how can they determine one way or another?

You state that:
To deal with such issues as UFOs or ghost as though there was valid evidence is fraudulent. Pseudoscience.

I can not debate the existence of ghosts since I have not studied that subject matter, but I have studied the subject of UFO’s and I feel that more study of such aircraft can lead to very interesting developments.

At this point I expected that you ask for my qualifications in this area of research.
I could give you a long list that would indicate my proficiency in various sciences, but on the internet I could say anything at all, and if you could not verify the info it would make no difference in the outcome of our debate.
So, instead of giving you a long list that you would not believe anyway, I will simply point to some information that is relevant to the subject matter and you can judge for your self if my contention that UFO’s are worth studying is right or wrong.

First, if you Google “ufos” you will obtain 7,140,000 sites that you can look at to verify that there are some unexplained phenomenon in the world.
You need some background information on the subject and this video is a good start.

I would like to debate this subject but first you must have some background information, let me know if you have seen the video where Dan Aykroyd explains his views, then let me know your views and explain why you believe that your viewpoint is the right one.
