If the US had listened to the UN instead of Chalabi a lot of innocent people would be alive, wouldn't they. And Saddam would have been running Iraq instead of Bush.
You probably should have thought about that pair of sentences a little more. At this point, Iraqi war casualties are just beginning to approach about a tenth of the total from Saddam's reign of wars of conquest and abuse of his own people.
That doesn't even count the sanction casualties, the ones that the U.N. told us killed half a million people. You do remember the sanctions? The Left was all about the sanctions before the war.
