I learned a very long time ago that anything you believe in might be changed when the truth is fully known. At the same time I learned that screaming and pounding the table when unnecassary is worse than couterproductive. Yes, there are a few topics that I will do just that. But few, and I refrain from participating in the subjects here and elsewhere online.

I was, and honestly still am, angry about 9/11. Also, I spread the blame around, the failures of intelligence services, law enforcement are as large a factor as the actions of those who commeitted the act.

But, it not surprised in retrospect, the warning signs had been around for years. The first speculations on using commercial aircraft as weapons was filed a long time ago. (If memory serves, 1971 or so.)

And, there are those who have used the ensuing public fear to advance their own agendas. From both sides of the political spectrum.

Robert and I had begun a conversation some time back about what we believed in. Unfortunately I had to stop long before I wanted due to events IRL. Regretable, but unavoidable. Hopefully, one day, he and I can continue that civil debate.
