The trick is to hold stuff. Sometimes it goes out of fashion, but if you hold it long enough, it becomes historic again, or "genre" art. I have one William Hartmann original.

It'll be worth more than I paid for it about the same time I die. If I can persuade my kids to hang on to it for another few decades, it'll pay their kids through college...
