Yeah, the Democrats have had no power in this country at all for decades. You really don't get it, do you?
I wonder how many months, or years, it will take of Democratic near-total control in Washington, and the same old crap going on, for liberals to finally realize that the problem is with the system, not the party?
I have voted Republican because, for much of my life, they weren't as bad as the Democrats in trying to accumulate all power to the government, and a few of them--very few--even tried to move us back toward freedom. Needless to say, they haven't been so hot in that department in recent years. If it wasn't for the Democrats moving even further left, the Republicans would have caught up.
Naive and gullible people think when the Great Revolution takes place, and the government's power becomes near-infinite, that the rich CEOs who populate their cartoon worldview will be thrown into the outer darkness. In fact, they'll become an integral part of the government-controlled system, approved and competition-protected megacompanies that, while massively regulated, somehow seem to get along very well with the regulators. If you look around, you can see this in a lot of places already.
