I didn't predict failure. I'm talking human nature if the face of impossible expectations.
The guy is going to do better than anyone else could possibly do, and, and he's gonna be overwhelmed by the situation. It will take longer, and he won't get as far as folks will demand. With any luck he will change the very structure of the country. (If he gives back the financial system to the financiers, he's dog dinner.)
Besides, it's an old joke. Once the mission is accepted, the excuses start. The entire government is founded on that.
