re: Imagine if they could paint city roofs white
Here in Mexico, with many flat roofs and tropical weather, we seal the roofs with a "paint on" impermeable membrane. Among other colors, it is available in white, and most people around here use it because it seals just as well as the black stuff and helps reduce cooling costs.
