What's the big deal about healthcare?
Is it any more important than electricity or food, or transportation? My electric bill costs more per month than my health insurance. So does my grocery bill. I don't see anyone calling to nationalize grocery stores or power companies.
Healthcare is simply another service that I must pay for as an adult. Sure it would suck to get sick without health insurance, but so would having a car accident without insurance, or going without electricity or food. Having to put back an extra $30 a week isn't an excuse to declare a state of emergency.
