I have to pay $7.03 per hour for health and welfare and if I had 30 employees that would be over $36,000 per month.
You can check out other trades here and some require over $9 per hour.
If we do succumb to a national health care system you can bet employers are going to drop these expensive health programs and go with a much cheaper government plan. This will hurt the employee who already has a health plan with their employer, not help them.
