Is assuming this issue is about how to give Americans health care. It's about government power. It always has been.

The first clue is that the pro-nationalization people have no interest at all in any solution that preserves a system that most Americans are happy with, and simply helps out that small minority who for some reason can't afford coverage, can't get it, or for some reason aren't eligible for the huge existing government programs for the poor and elderly.

Their primary objective is dragging the middle class and upper classes into government health care, and every proposal made so far is along these lines. It's what the SCHIP thing was about.
