"Bush, Paulson Call for 'Significant' Infusion of Taxpayer Dollars to Lift Up Economy". Now that was on Friday, September 19, 2008. Both Bush and Paulson are Republican and Conservative. In a typical Conservative attempt to completely revise history these Conservative iniatives are being attrubuted to Obama. It's amazing how these people can attempt to deny a reality which is occurring right in front of us.
Unregulated capitalism and human greed caused the collapse of the nation's banking system. The Republican and Conservative President and his Secretary of the Treasury turned to socialism to rescue their friends and colleagues in the financial world, the same people whose greed caused the collapse.
If there's a chance to save the economy of the US it will not come because of the efforts of the entrepreneurs, the investors, the capitalists. They are the problem. It will be because of government intervention, socialism.
When Limbaugh, et al., want Obama's socialist policies to fail they are forgetting exactly whose policies they are and who is benefiting the most from that bailout. And forget that capitalism has died from bloat and greed.
So if socialism can't work, it can't bail out the capitalists, those proud, hard-working people who created the problem.
And if socialism can't work, what's left?

If the Bush-Paulson socialism fails, what's left? Capitalism again?
