Here I thought I was the only one, have safely stashed away at home two old IBM 'workstation' keyboards. The ones with 'feel' to them, not only do they provide me tactile feedback. I can actually write faster on them. (That's obfuscation for the reality I can make more mistakes much faster on them.)

And it's likely I'll never own a computer with Vista on it. Have it at work on one system. No one likes it, including the Alpha geek.
