Besides the one being much more devastating, much deadlier, what's the difference? One is moral the other immoral?
What if the pilot gets shot down and killed? Does that change the moral picture?
Or is it that big countries have planes and bombs and poor ones don't? And planes and bombs are legitimate?
That State-sponsored terrorism such as "Shock and Awe" is OK whereas terrorism by other means isn't?
Your claim that the US is morally correct in all things cheapens the US. The US could be a much bigger country, a moral beacon instead of a run-of-the-mill torturing and terrorist machine.
Tell me how many of the Abu Ghraib knew of ticking bombs. All of them in that pigpile? Now claim that wasn't the result of Bush and Co. policies.
