So it wasn't Russian meddling, or Trumpian boorish bad manners, or Conservative determination to obstruct and sabotage the Democrats at every step; so not only Liberal policies but ALL Obama proposals (even those favored by the GOP in the past) would fail.

The GOP vowed to ensure Obama "never gets a second term", and took the government hostage, stonewalled all Democratic efforts to deal with the Republican Depression and threatened the destruction of the nation's credit rating and the collapse of the government itself just to make things rough on Obama, make him look bad, and induce chaos just so they could blame it on him and pick up the pieces after.

And they still couldn't stop him from earning a second term with a majority vote of the people,(not some phony electoral college technicality).

They declared that Obama himself was illegitimate by virtue of his Muslim religion, Kenyan birth and Socialist politics, downright lies they refused to denounce long after they had been shown to be false, and they stopped him from appointing judges and agency heads so his policies would get nowhere. They insulted and disrespected him publicly, to the point of not even scolding one of their Right Wing thugs who called him a liar while trying to deliver a routine speech. And then, to top it off, they announced that they would not even consider his nominee to the Supreme Court, no matter how middle-of-the-road and respected he was.

The Republicans have done every thing they could to destroy the Obama presidency; not because they opposed SOME of his policies,(that is, after all, their job). But to attack ALL his policies, cause him to fail, cause the nation to fail, just so they could blame it on him.

And what has the Liberal elite done? Refused to go to the inauguration? Expressed dismay for Trump's contemptible behavior and astonishment at how the GOP has calmly accepted his political pederasty simply because he promised to dismantle the Obama legacy?
