The election was "rigged", until he won. And his followers just look the other way, as if nothing was happening.
"The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy." Well, I'll agree with him on that. In the 21st century, the Republicans have only been able to win one election, Bush's 2nd term, fair and square. And that was only because it was wartime. Without 9/11, Bush would never have gotten a second term.
What used to be a quaint 18th century anachronism has suddenly turned into a 21st century "sham and a travesty", a "great and disgusting injustice":
"We are not a democracy!"
"Terminate Obamacare", "Carthago Delenda Est".
