Creating and reproducing
Two different processes, Raoul - Creation makes something new from nothing or unrelated pre-existing parts, whereas evolution means we're all related via heredity to the LCA, thus we're fundamentally just elaborations on the LCA. Our current best efforts can't explain how our DNA-RNA life was created from the simple amino acids that plain old chemistry can make. The best guesses involve simpler "life forms" based on small molecules, clays or metal-ores. Or all of them, or none. We still don't know. We could invoke the real Creator, but that'd answer very little in scientific terms.
