Maybe we can do as well as Canada does. All we need to do is:
A) cut our population by 90 percent
B) find another country to handle most our defense requirement for about fifty years (in 2006, the entire Canadian defense budget was $13 billion Canadian dollars)
C) Stick another huge nation between you and the major stream of illegal immigrants
D) Strip the oil out of your own country and make money off it instead of importing it (check out Alberta)
BTW, 30 percent of Canadian health care is still privately financed.
