I haven't. "Regime change" is it, the Taliban is overthrown and Karzai is a hand-picked puppet. "Nukes" and "WMDs" won't work. "Democracy" isn't going to work in that country, as it requires a free press, literacy and loyalty to the State rather than tribes.
Under the US and NATO occupation it has become a narco-state, with the narcotics trade being more influential and providing more jobs than any other force.
"Stability" might have worked at one time, but by now the Afghans hate the US so badly the country will always be fertile ground for those who wish the US ill.
I can't help but think that Obama is there because he doesn't want to be seen losing. And it was lost the minute the first American soldier set foot.
All that's left is counting the American losses. Nothing will be gained, any more than Russia walked away with anything.
PS Research what happened to Russian POWs captured by the Afghans. There were precious few, and the remainder were treated quite poorly. "The Bear Trap" is a book which talks about it a little.
