Kabul is the capital of Afghanistan. Not Western Pakistan.
If you think the US can eliminate the Taliban's ability to kill Americans by sending Americans over to Afghanistan to kill Taliban I'd have to disagree.
There is no "win" by that definition unless you kill everyone who now dislikes the US, then kill their families and friends. Now you're going to have to kill THEIR families and friends.
