I realize you are talking about Obama's promise after he's been in office a month. Bush promised the same thing and more three years before. Three years.

Were you outraged about that? No. What does that tell us? That you're concerned for those poor folks living in New Orleans?

It seems that Obama offered a pretty solid reason. Having seen some of the threads Conservatives hang from in making excuses for their behaviors, using Chalabi as a source, believing "Dipstick" or whoever that drunk German was, forged documents, I would think that Obama would have explained it to anyone's satisfaction.
