Venus might've lasted longer than that

Hi Raoul

With high albedo from clouds it's possible Venus's oceans lasted a lot longer, up to just a billion years ago, depending on the resurfacing event's age. A wet greenhouse would've dried the planet out in just 0.6 billion years - quicker if it was drier than Earth originally. It's possible the transition to its present nastiness happened because of a singular event, like a massive impactor.
