Nobody likes these deficits.
Not me, not the liberals, not Obama, not anybody. This is drastic treatment for a mortal wound, it may not work, and even if it does it will leave us with a yoke on our back for decades to come. Even if it is the right thing to do, it will probably be mismanaged in part because it has to be done so quickly. But right now it is the only weapon we have, and we have to use it.
And don't worry, if it fails utterly and the country goes down the tubes, the next Republican President will get you your tax cut.
