I can see that. You're too smart to not see who is "subsidizing" who in this country. Look where the money actually flows.

My town, my library, my fire department, and all the good things here are paid for mostly by the property taxes of some immensely rich Silicon Valley companies located here. Life is a lot more comfortable being a middle-class person in a town with a lot of rich people in it than a middle class person who's the richest person in town.

Hopefully the idiots in Sacramento don't make the state too damn poisonous for them.
