I realize it's a mature technology, but what's frightening is "liquid sodium".
Just the thought of having sodium around that is so hot as to be liquid is horrifying. That, coupled with the radiation, seems like having a really pissed off pit bull as the seeing eye dog for a brain-damaged prize fighter.
I know, I know, it works. But it's sort of like eating an oyster the first time - one wonders who ever thought of it.
