The crew leaders of those construction jobs could insist that any worker they hire be here legally or be a citizen. Of course they'd have to pay higher wages and we'd all pay more for our houses and buildings. You willing to foot the higher bills?

There's plenty of blame to go around. While doing that though, put yourself into the shoes of someone from Mexico who's family is starving at the wages you can earn there and a bright shining country of opportunity a fence hop away from you. I'm not sure I wouldn't be illegal as well if the waiting period to get the proper papers was a decade long.
