While, as always, there's much to criticize in a post by Tom, in this instance he's less guilty of the charge of crypticism than you think...that is, he's guilty of making his point through an Ayn Rand reference in his subject line that makes sense if you've read Atlas Shrugged. The article to which he linked has some gratuitous editorializing near the top that he latched on to, imagining that it backs up his destructive partisan slanders of President Obama; basically, they're implying that Obama is driving heroic industrialists into hiding out in a stealthed valley, in Rand's work of fiction in the Colorado Rockies, in the Reuter's report, in the Swiss Alps.

Mildly amusing, but like most of Tom's partisan talking points, fictional when you look into it. The corporations mentioned in the article are already evading US taxes by being registered offshore in the Cayman Islands, and so the story devolves from high political feces-flinging into the mundane news that Switzerland has replaced the Caymans as "the" haven for corporate tax evaders. Big news to Republican fat cats, no doubt, but a snooze to normal people.
