I got this email from my cousin who lives in Florida:

WOW ! I got to watch this live! We could see the launch here and it was spectacular, with the sun's ray bathing sunset colors on the shuttle, as it climbed into the heavens! Absolutely specacular! Thoguht I'd pee my pants!
