It's a fantasy for those who want to be ruled by royalty
Just like there are Russians who want Communist rule back, there are
those in America who want to governed by "divine" royalty, kings and
queens and princes.
Only 48% wanted the US to split from England during the Revolutionary
War, so no doubt those Torries passed on their desire for a monarchy
rather than a democracy or republic to future generations of Americans
who you think would know better.
This is why only 30% of the nations in the world are even nominal
democracies, and why it is so important that we preserve the Union.
